Sorico - Lake Como

Sorico, Lake Como Sorico is an ancient fishing village on the northwest shore of Lake Como. Its territory extends round the river Mera, which connects Lake Mezzola and the Pian di Spagna. Since ancient times, thanks to its strategic position, it has been a place of passage and commercial exchange. Together with Dongo and Gravedona, it made up the County of the Trepievi, the three Superior Parishes of Lake Como.

This area, called "the Boschetto", includes a fair number of highly secluded villas, all with large gardens. It is the perfect habitat for several species of sedentary and migratory birds, and a watering hole for the deers that live in the area. The villa is located in an excellent peaceful position, where you can go for several pleasant walks. Canoes, boats, surfboards and bicycles may be hired on the sandy beach. There are shops and restaurants about 2 km away. In the large enclosed and well kept garden (about 1000 sq.m), there are table with chairs, sun beds, umbrella and barbecue. Two car spots.

The owner tends it with particular care for himself and the guests who stay in the house in July and August. There is a beautiful raised covered terrace where you can have lunch or a candlelight dinner during long summer evenings.
