Chalet Vinicia is on the hills over the east bank of Lake Como with a splendid view over the whole lake. It is a detached house built on a small steep plot which is partially fenced in. It is in the countryside near Oro, about 2 km from the shops, restaurants and beach of Bellano. Bellano is a village untouched by mass tourism set amidst the greenery of its countless cypresses. The numerous narrow lanes which emerge on the charming lakeside promenade, lead to the churches and buildings of the old village centre, which bear the signs of an eventful past. The house has a balcony and covered terrace where you can have lunch or dine admiring the spectacular scene which occurs at dusk, when the sky goes red and accentuates the wonderful colours of the flora and surrounding mountains thus making the lake unique and unforgettable.
Those who spend a holiday on Lake Como can experience romantic, historical and spectacular scenes, such as these, every day. This house is ideal for people who love peace and reading. It is also an excellent place for setting out on all sorts of excursions: trekking, mountain biking, visiting mountain huts, and boat trips around the whole lake. You can take the ferry to Bellagio or Menaggio at Varenna, about 5 km away.

DESCRIPTION OF APARTMENT
The house was once a rustic barn used as a stable for cows and pigs. Then restructured, this splendid chalet has internally been built in wood and with stone walls 50 cm thick. It is on two levels and it is about 70 sqm. On the ground floor, there is a living room with kitchen, a huge fireplace and double-sitting sofa; bathroom with shower, a balcony and a covered terrace with panoramic sight. A wooden staircase leads to upstairs where there are two bedrooms under the roof, one of which has a double bed and one has two single beds. Washing machine. Furnishing in rustic wooden style. A small garden of 100mq. with table, chairs, sun beds and barbecue. Car spot behind the house. Bed linen provided. Bath towels must be brought. Consumptions included in the price. Final cleaning 50€ to be paid upon arrival.Heating gas GPL to be paid in regard to consumption: (€5/m3).

BELLANO - Lake Como

Bellano (3300 inhabitants) is located on the eastern shore of Lake Como. Colico is 15 Km north, Varenna 5 km south. This small town, not yet known by the tourism of mass, is surrounded by a lovely landscape and characterized by beautiful lakeside walks. The old town centre is characterized by tight alleys where hardly the sun filters, medieval houses, arches that date back to the 17th century and Baroque courts. From the old town centre go up until you find the spot where the Pioverna stream forms the Orrido, a gorge dug in the rocks, formed more than 15 million years ago and in the past used to exploit to iron. Today it can be visited passing through narrow hanging passages. You can enjoy a lovely scenery walking on the lakefront path, where we also find a beachfront concession and a few pebble beaches. There are also two trekking paths with panoramic view that lead you in Valsassina. Of remarkable interest it is also the visit to Premana, a village 21km away, famous for the handicrafts from where you can admire a beautiful view over the whole lake.
