Villa delle Magnolie is in the village of Colico on the east bank of the lake, 10 km from Domaso and 15 km from Bellano. Piona Abbey is nearby, where grey friars have been producing liqueurs and herbal medicines known throughout Italy for their healing powers for more than 150 years. There are two flats. The owners live on the entresol with terrace, whereas the ground floor with porch is a holiday flat for 5 people. The flats have separate entrances and each one has 1000 sq.m of garden, with porch.
The owner has created an equipped play area for children that everyone can share. The part of the garden reserved for guests is around the flat in front of the entrance overlooking the lake.
The villa has an excellent view of the renowned Baia di Piona. The children can play undisturbed in the large garden, and the adults who love greenery and the open air can sunbathe and enjoy unique moments of relax. The evening sunset is spectacular. The sun goes down slowly in the clear sky, and the colours of the luxuriant unique flora and mirror-like lake create unforgettably romantic moments, all accompanied by the light coolness of the evening.
The garden is well kept and has shaded areas where you can fall asleep lulled by the rustling of the plants and the light lake breeze.
The house is 2 km away from the centre, where there are all sorts of services. 500 m away there is a baker's, newsagent's, tobacconist's, bar, 2 pizzerias, several restaurants and a grocer's. In the garden there is a porch where you can have lunch or a candlelight dinner and enjoy the lake view.
