The villa promises privacy and an atmosphere of peace and tranquility disturbed only by the sounds of the gushing waters of the stream nearby (50m away)
You can sunbathe in the lovely garden or sit and relax in the shade reading a good book. There is also a barbecue available in the garden.
Villa Wilfred occupies the ground floor while the floor above is sometimes used by the owner as an office when he does some projecting works. However the two floors have separate entries and the whole property is exclusively for clients’ usage. The villa also has a covered terrace leading from the sitting room, with table, chairs and umbrella ideal for an al fresco lunch in the shade.
Within walking distance you can easily reach the town centre and the 2 main beaches, that offer opportunities to do many water sports like windsurfing, kite surfing, water skiing, canoe.
Colico offers also a new nautical centre with its café, swimming pool, moorings for rent, tennis field, riding centre, mini golf, mountain bike rentals and children’s playground.
You can enjoy the area making boat excursions from Colico to the nicest villages on Lake Como or explore the mountains making tours with or without a guide. For those you like shopping you can spend a day out at Lecco or Milan that are easily reachable by car or by train. The train station is at 1km away from the house.
The third beach is the one of Laghetto di Piona that is about 2km away, known all over Italy for its abbey where the Cistercensi's monks have been living there for more 150 years, producing liqueurs and medical herbs. Villa Wilfred is located at only 50m away from Villa Le Violette (CCO196) therefore they are suitable for 2 families who wish to spend their holidays together, but still having their own private spaces.

Lovely detached villa of 90 m2 developed over one floor comprising a living room with two sofas, fireplace and TV-SAT, small dining area with table and chairs; kitchen with stove, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and table and chairs. One bedroom with double bed, single bed and wardrobe; a second bedroom with three single beds. Bathroom with bath tub and shower together, WC. Garden of 800m with table, chairs, sun-umbrella and sun beds .Two private parking spaces in the yard. Bed linen and kitchenware included. Towels to be brought. Costs for light, water and gas included in the price. Final cleaning €60. Small pets allowed: €25 per pet per stay. Heating to be paid upon arrival: €50 per week.
TOWN OF COLICO Colico is located on the north-eastern shore of Lake Como, at the feet of Legnone Mountain, (2609MT.) Colico is composed of the areas of of Villatico, Curcio, Laghetto and Olgiasca (Abbey of Piona)and has three main beaches, two of them are in Colico, the other one is in Piona. Within a short drive from Colico you can easily reach Valtellina, Lecco, Milan, San Moritz and Lugano. In Colico you can practise many water sports like windsurf ans sailing. There is a windsurf school where you can take lessons, rent surf boards and surf equippment. There are tennis courts, possibility to go horse riding, or rent mountain bikes. Colico is well connected to the eastern side of the lake by trains that run mostly every hour whereas you can reach all the major towns of the western side of lake by boat. From Colico you can set out for excursions in the mountains with or without tourist guide enjoying one of the most beautiful and original landscapes of the lake. Conquered by the Spaniards, Colico still preserves military forts that represent a must for tourists that come to visit Colico. It is also reccommended a walk on the lakefront and a stop in one of the cafes or restaurants of the main square that offer typical Italian dishes and local wine. In the areas of Curcio and Laghetto you can find the “CROTTI”, small restaurants built in the caves of the mountain.
