Villa Galia Antica is located in Lierna on the eastern coast of Lake Como, at only 5km away from Varenna and 16km from Lecco.

This apartment occupies the ground floor approx. 100 sq.m of the villa and is completely self-contained with its own private external entrance and patio area, with table, chairs and sun beds, where you can spend moments of complete relax enjoying this breathtaking view.
The interiors are spacious and light and represent a tasteful mixture of modern facilities and antique furnishing and décor. The villa is situated only 300m away from the centre of Lierna, pretty small town typical of the lake, appreciated by tourists thanks to its mild climate. It is formed by eleven hamlets all characterized by narrow cobbled alleyways and houses attached to each other. The imposing peninsular of Castello juts out into Lake Como at the northern end of Lierna, joined to the mainland with the famous long white stretch of sand known as 'Riva Bianca', one of nicest and biggest public beaches of Lake Como. Within walking distance you can reach the supermarket, delicatessen, greengrocer's, florist's and gift shop, bank, chemist's and post office, as well as several good restaurants and pizzerias.
The railway is 300m away with frequent links south to Milan, and north to Valtellina, Varenna, at only 4km away, has frequent ferry crossings to Bellagio and Menaggio or some boats even depart from Lierna’s harbour.
The surroundings offer an astonishing variety of historical and environmental sceneries and you can choose between many excursions you can make in the mountains; the main path is “Sentiero del Viandante” - an antique way from Lecco to Switzerland, where you can take in panoramic, botanical and geological views of the lake. The mountain of la Grigna offers also many paths for more experts.

The private access across a small staircase at the front of the villa leads to a bright living room, with two sofas, antique sideboard and TV-SAT. Following on is the dinner area with table and chairs and fireplace that opens out on to the kitchen, small but well-equipped with fridge, freezer, stove with four ring burners, oven, microwave and dishwasher.
Double Bedroom with fitted wardrobe to either side of bed head with bridging storage above, spacious second bedroom with double bed and single bed., antique chest of draws with mirror. Bathroom with bath tub and shower above, sink, washing machine and wc. Externally there is a private patio area with table, chairs and sun beds. A barbecue is also provided for an al fresco lakefront lunch. Private parking place inside the property.
Bed linen, kitchenware and towels provide. Consumption costs of gas and electricity are included in the price. Final cleaning: €70 euro. Heating to be paid in regard to consumption (€1/m3) .
