| The Residence I Pini Marittimi is at Griante-Cadenabbia, one of the most beautiful parts of the lake This area, called "Tremezzina", is made even more agreeable by its microclimate: both the summer and winter seasons are very appealing, with mild temperatures for 10 months a year.
Several world famous celebrities have villas here (Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Versace, etc.).
The American actor Brad Pitt recently bought a wonderful villa here right on the lake, where he comes with his Hollywood friend George Clooney to spend long holiday periods away from the spotlights and chaos of Los Angeles. If you decide to spend a holiday at Griante, you will risk to bump into celebrities from the world of football, show business and fashion at the baker's or newsagent's. George Clooney recently declared in the American press and on television that he loves Lake Como and has rediscovered himself and the values he believes in, in the beautiful lake scenery. You can take ferries from here to all other lake locations, nearby Como and the noble Lugano with its casinos which liven up the night life. It is ideal for those who wish to spend a peaceful holiday in a beautiful place near the beach, but above all near the most important Renaissance villas on the lake: Villa Carlotta, Villa d'Este, Villa Balbianello, Villa Melzi, Villa Cipressi, Villa Monastero and Villa Olmo.
The residence is a complex of 5 flats in 2 houses, 2 of which are rented as holiday homes. Apartment GRA100 is situated in one house on the ground floor, while GRA102 is situated one the first floor of the other building next door. The other flats are used by the owners, who are particularly hospitable and helpful.
You can sunbathe beside the swimming pool (8 x 4 m), where there is an equipped solarium with deckchairs, gazebo, table and garden chairs, which the guests and owners may freely use. The flat on the ground floor has the garden around the house. The other one on the first floor uses the garden and solarium surrounding the swimming pool. All the flats have a wonderful view of the lake and Bellagio. The old town centre is about 500 m away, with shops, bars and restaurants nearby.
There is a white beach with pool about 200 m away.

RUSTICO LE VIOLETTE - loc. Cremia

| Rustico Le Violette is a stone house located in the small village of Cremia, on the western side of ake Como, at only 10km away from Menaggio and 45km from Como.
The house is made of two independent apartments that enjoy both a lovely view on the lake. Guests can relax in the garden where they will find sun beds, table and chairs and a small swimming pool 5m x 3m providing lots of fun for children!
It’s an ideal place for people who is looking for a relaxing holiday and is also a good starting point for mountain excursions and for trekking
You can enjoy many walks departing from the carriage road to the higher hamlets, discovering lovely views of undisturbed natural scenery and for those who love hiking can set out on many mountain excursions and choosing from the variety of trekking routes that this area offers.
The rifugio La Canua '(1500 m) is just at 20 minutes by car and one-hour walk. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view over the lake and the surrounding mountains.
In two minutes by car you can reach Cremia’s lake front, with a nice beach, a pretty harbour and a well-equipped wind surf school offering different courses and the possibility to rent various kinds of equipment. In fact Thanks to its ideal location and to the "Breva" (the southerly thermal wind that is at its best here), this area is appreciated by water sport lovers who can practice all types of water sports from windsurfing to kitesurfing, boat sailing or canoa. It's also possible to rent nearby motor or sailing boats.
From Menaggio that is only a few kilometres away you can easily reach by car or public transport Varenna, Bellagio and Lugano in Switzerland, while for the golfers the renowned Menaggio and Cadenabbia Golf Club is only nearby.

The two apartments that are rented for holiday homes are located in the last house of the row and are modernly furnished providing every comfort for a perfect holiday at Lake Como (fully equipped kitchen, independent heating, tv-sat). The spectacular scene which occurs at dusk, when the sky goes red and accentuates the wonderful colours of the flora and surrounding mountains, makes the lake unique and unforgettable. The residence is situated at 900m away from the town centre and from the two free beaches that offer opportunities to do many water sports like windsurfing, kite surfing, water skiing, canoe. Colico offers also a new nautical centre with its café, swimming pool, moorings for rent, tennis field, riding centre, mini golf, mountain bike rentals and children’s playground.
You can enjoy the area making boat excursions from Colico to the nicest villages on Lake Como or explore the mountains making tours with or without a guide. For those you like shopping you can spend a day out at Lecco or Milan that are easily reachable by car or by train. The lovely beach of Piona Bay where you can rent deckchairs and beach chairs and pedal boats for trips around the bay is at 3km away.
