Chalet Vinicia 2 is situated in the hilly area above Bellano, on the east bank of Lake Como. It’s an apartment on the first floor of a detached house built on two levels overlooking the whole lake. On the ground floor there is the apartment belonging to the owners, very kind and helpful that may stay sometimes at weekends during the summer.
It has a pretty garden with table, chairs and sun beds, where you can sunbathe and absorb the relaxed atmosphere that this beautiful place offers. There is also a barbecue outside where you can enjoy also an al fresco lunch or dinner during the hot summer months overlooking the lake.
The apartment is located in the hamlet called Oro, about 2 km from the shops, restaurants and beach of Bellano.
Bellano is a village untouched by mass tourism set amidst the greenery of its countless cypresses. The numerous narrow lanes which emerge on the charming lakeside promenade, lead to the churches and buildings of the old village centre.
The location is perfect for mountain walking and exploring Lake Como or just relaxing and enjoying the wonderful view.
It is also an excellent place for setting out on all sorts of excursions: trekking, mountain biking, visiting mountain huts.
and boat trips around the whole lake. The lake ferries are also a great way to explore: ferry to Bellagio or Menaggio at Varenna, about 5 km away

The apartment of around 80 sqm on two levels composed of kitchen with stove, oven and washing machine, living room with double sofa bed and fireplace; bathroom with shower. A wooden staircase leads to upstairs : a large openspace comprising a double bedroom, big wardrobe wall that divides the room with another one with two single beds. Furniture in rustic wooden style. Garden with table, chairs, sun beds and barbecue available. Parking place on the road in front of the property.
Bed linen provided. Consumption costs.

Bellano (3300 inhabitants) is situated about half way down the eastern shore of Lake Como. Colico is at north, ca. 15 km and Varenna is 5 km south. The village is among those not yet affected by mass tourism, keeping intact its nature, made of green cypresses and many colors that the lake at dusk spreads across the village from the hillside to the lake.
The old town centre is characterized by interesting tight alleys with medieval houses, arches that date back to the 17th century and Baroque courts. You can not miss the appointment with the idyllic cemetery located above the ravine with a beautiful view. At the lake, we have a beach, a few natural beaches (pebble), yacht club and marina. Worth seeing is the are of Valsassina and the village of Premana (21 km) By train or by car (Bellano was the only way out of the ring road on the east bank) is fast approaching to Lecco, Bergamo and Milan.
