Le Terrazze is a pretty chalet in stone situated in the small village of Plesio, at 500m of altitude on the west side of the lake, at only 6km away from Menaggio, 30km from Lugano and 40km away from Como.
The apartment set in a sunny and quite position is very cosy and comfortable and has a nice garden of around 500 meters, private patio at the back with garden furniture, table, chairs, sun beds and sun umbrella, where you can relax and unwind with a cold drink and enjoy the spectacular views across the lake.
A barbecue is also provided on the patio for al fresco dining while admiring the views.
An electric gate gives direct access to the property. The owners live in the front part of the building, while the holiday home is next door with it's own private entrance. Private parking place in front of the property.
It is an ideal location for a quiet and relaxing holiday, immersed in nature. The village combines the characteristics of a mountain place and of a lake resort, has a wonderful position overlooking the centre of the Lake. Within a short walk you can reach the hamlet centre, only 500 meters away, with its’ small shops, restaurant and pizzerias.

Apartment of around 50 sqm on one level composed of small entrance, living room with double sofa bed, table and four chairs, TV-SAT and lovely terrace that overlooks the lake. Kitchenette with big fridge, stove with four ring burners and oven. Bedroom with double bed and wardrobe. Bathroom with shower. Bed linen and kitchenware provided. Consumption costs included in the price.

Menaggio is situated on the western shore of Lake Como at the point where the road bordering the western side of the lake and the road leading through the Menaggio Valley and Lugano meet.
The town is composed of the centre and three hamlets Loveno, Nobiallo and Croce.
Thanks to its central position among the lake and the mountains, this town is the ideal starting point for all kind of excursions. You can visit the beautiful villas with their lovely gardens by boat, or take the bus or car to discover the valleys with their rural settlements and small Romanesque churches and by foot or mountain bike you explore the trails of the Val Sanagra Park, which is constituted by the homonymous basin and is very interesting thanks to its natural almost intact aspect. Several paths lead to the sources of " troi" from where Chiarella takes its water. The itineraries of "Sentiero delle 4 Valli" and "Via dei Monti Lariani"are also worth to be mentioned.
The most common destination is Rifugio Menaggio, at 1400 m of altitude.
In Menaggio you can find the second oldest Golf Club in Italy, it also boasts a sports centre and a big lido with a large beach with two pools, restaurant and beach bar. The town also has a public beach, a lovely crazy golf located on the lakeside promenade and a children’s playground.

Comments	Maison pas très lumineuse car sous la terrasse. Superbe vue panoramique de la terrasse mais celle ci n'est pas proche de la maison (trajet par allée/jardin de 50 m environ car située au dessus de la maison). Pas très pratique pour manger !

Comments	In der Wohnung fehlt eine Garderobe, sowie weitere Ablgemöglichkeiten im Bad. Für zwei Personen ist die Wohnung ok. Für vier Personen würde ich sie nicht empfehlen, da nur ein Kleiderschrank im Schlafzimmer steht und die oben erwähnten Ablagemöglichkeiten fehlen. Das ist ein kleiner Mangel, der allerdings leicht zu beheben ist. Der Hausbesitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfbereit.

Comments	It is very nice and quiet little house at a beautiful location with a great lake view. The house is small but has a great and large garden. So if the weather is fine, the accomodation suits the purposes very well. If however you have bad luck and some days of bad weather then the house has limitations. The coach/bed in the living is ok, but of course that is not the same as a separate, second, bed room. As stated the garden is beautiful, but probably not suited for small children. But a very nice location to experience a great holiday at lake Como area; PS the enterance for the car is a bit of an experience when you arrive, but you get used to it ;-)

Comments	Schöne, neuwertige, sehr saubere Wohnung mit herrlichen Ausblick. In der Küche fehlen einige Kleinigkeiten, was aber nicht so tragisch ist. Vorsicht mit grossen Autos, die Zufahrt ist sehr eng. Matraze im Bett gewohnt italienisch-hart. Etwas wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten im Badezimmer. Alles in allem aber zu empfehlen. Sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Besitzer.
