RESIDENZA VILLA LE MAGNOLIE - Apartment for 6 people (DMA306)
Overall rating:
8,3 in 1 reviews.
Residenza Villa Le Magnolie is a wonderful antique residence restored and transformed into six independent apartments that are rented as holiday homes, situated in a sunny location, at 150 meters from the coastal road close to the beach and the lake, in Domaso on the beautiful northern shore of Lake Como. The property, almost entirely preserved in its original form outside, opens on a courtyard with private parking space for each apartment; green area and stairs leading to the residence. It is composed of two two-room apartments with covered porch on the ground floor; a two-room apartment and a three-room apartment with terrace on the first floor and a two-room apartment and a three-room apartment with independent entrances at the back of the building and direct access to the solarium and pool; the apartments of different sizes are very bright, with panoramic views, pleasantly decorated, fully furnished and provided with every comfort (fully equipped kitchen, independent heating, tv-sat). The terraces and porches have garden furniture for dining al fresco or relaxing while sunbathing. Lovely solarium with swimming pool (10x5) at the back of the residence immersed amid rich vegetation in pleasant surroundings where peace and quiet reign supreme. A barbecue is also provided. Time flies here, and guests may relax while sunbathing on comfortable sun beds or reading under the shade of a parasol. The tree blossoms, exuding a particularly inebriating scent in the spring and in September, are delightful. Domaso’s centre with its busy harbour, shops, bakeries and restaurants is reachable within walking distance (300m). The harbour is connected with boats and hydrofoils of navigation to the main towns of the lake.
Domaso is considered to be one of the most important centres for water sports like windsurf or sailing thanks to the mild weather the lake's breeze called "Breva". The village offers many sport opportunities: tennis-courts, football-grounds, fitness centre, windsurf and water-skiing schools. Domaso offers also a wide beach and a panoramic lakeside boardwalk. For young people who look for some nightlife there are several pubs, bars and restaurants. Apartment descriptionThree-room apartment on the second floor composed of living room/kitchen with stove, dining table and chairs, SAT TV, double sofa bed, 2 bedrooms with double bed and wardrobe. Bathroom shower and wc. Direct access to the pool. Kitchenware, bed linen and towels included, Consumptions included and final cleaning €50.
Domaso is a small village on the west side of Lake Como, with its narrow alleys and steep lanes, and still preserves the stories of old fishermen. Today it is one of the most known tourist centers of the lake, with structures and services suitable for tourists. The "Breva", typical wind of the lake, makes Domaso a heaven for all water sport lovers (kite surf, windsurf,…). There are also modern tennis and soccer fields, gyms, fitness centres. For people who love the calm and the rest, the long beach and its secular woods offer moments of real relax. The lovers of the mountain won't remain disappointed! The territory offers numerous itineraries for trekking, mountain biking or just for a simple walk. This area is a good start to visit the historical-artistic beauties of the lake.
What to visit: Chiesa di San Bartolomeo of the XVI century Domaso and Villa Camilla. Once the house belong to a noble Serbregondis, today it is the town hall. Domaso is known above all for its culinary history of the famous “missoltitt”, fished in spring and in autumn and then salted, dried in the sun and compressed in wood barrels. Another typical dish is the famous “polenta”, served with mushrooms, meat and local cheese (like the Semuda and the Robbiola) or cooked with melted butter and cheese (the polent'uncia). très bon séjour passé à la résidence Magnolie.
