Chalet Agrifoglio is a pretty chalet in stone situated in a small hamlet of Colico, on the renowned eastern coast of Lake Como, where the colours of the lake mix together with the colours of the mountains, a magical combination of lush Mediterranean vegetation and snowy alpine peaks.
The chalet has been newly refurbished but still preserves its original style with original stoned walls; providing an ideal holiday retreat perfect for couples you are seeking for a beautiful place away from the stresses of daily life.
It has a private garden making it the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine, have an evening barbecue and just relax. Inside it is tastefully furnished and has parquet flooring and wooden ceiling.
It’s the ideal place for whoever is seeking for a relaxing holiday but also for sport lovers. In fact Colico offers many opportunities for hiking ranging from simple, peaceful lakeside walks to steep mountain paths offering amazing panoramic views of the lake.
In the summer there are many festivals and local parties in many villages of Lake Como. You can enjoy the area making boat excursions from Colico to the nicest villages on Lake Como or explore the mountains making tours with or without a guide. For those you like shopping you can spend a day out at Lecco or Milan that are easily reachable by car or by train. The train station is at 1km away from the house.

New detached house in stone of around 100 sqm built on three floors : on the ground floor living room with fireplace and tv-sat, kitchen with with stove, oven, dish washer and dining table. A nice iron staircase leads to the first floor with double bedroom with balcony and bathroom with shower and washing machine. On the third floor large room with two single beds. A third bed can be added.
Garden with table, chairs, barbecue and sun beds. Parking space within walking distance. Bed linen and kitchenware included. Consumptions and final cleaning included in the price.

Colico is located on the north-eastern shore of Lake Como, at the feet of Legnone Mountain, (2609MT.) Colico is composed of the areas of of Villatico, Curcio, Laghetto and Olgiasca (Abbey of Piona)and has three main beaches, two of them are in Colico, the other one is in Piona. Within a short drive from Colico you can easily reach Valtellina, Lecco, Milan, San Moritz and Lugano. In Colico you can practise many water sports like windsurf ans sailing. There is a windsurf school where you can take lessons, rent surf boards and surf equippment. There are tennis courts, possibility to go horse riding, or rent mountain bikes. Colico is well connected to the eastern side of the lake by trains that run mostly every hour whereas you can reach all the major towns of the western side of lake by boat. From Colico you can set out for excursions in the mountains with or without tourist guide enjoying one of the most beautiful and original landscapes of the lake. Conquered by the Spaniards, Colico still preserves military forts that represent a must for tourists that come to visit Colico. It is also reccommended a walk on the lakefront and a stop in one of the cafes or restaurants of the main square that offer typical Italian dishes and local wine. In the areas of Curcio and Laghetto you can find the “CROTTI”, small restaurants built in the caves of the mountain

Comments	Overall we liked the house and the location: it was nice, clean and quiet. The kitchenware was only sufficient. The owner was nice and willing to help (we asked for additional bed, which was brought in a day time), pleasant ladies from the agency answered all our questions concerning practical things and attractions (in the middle of September tourist information office was closed all the time we checked). Garbage collection though was quite inconvenient.

Comments	Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die ausleuchtung im Wohn/Küchenbereich über dem Esstisch müßte nachgebessert werden. Das liegt oberhalb von Colico was dazu führte, dass man mehr das Auto benutzt hat. Das Haus ist empfehlenswert.

Comments	We missed the sun-beds in the garden (parasol) .The owner was very friendly en with best services. The agent was ok, but we missed maps and friendly information.

Comments	Das Haus liegt ruhiger Lage mitten in Villatico (Vorort von Colico). Zum See ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. In ca. 1 min Entfernung zu Fuß ist ein kleiner Alimentari für die morgendlichen Brötchen und in 3 Min. Entfernung zu Fuß eine gute Pizzeria (Sappore). Das Inventar vom Chalet ist nagelneu, das ganze Haus ist sehr wohnlich und ansprechend eingerichtet. Die Küche ist komplett und mit guten Geräten (auch Spülmaschine) ausgestattet. Im Bad ist noch eine Waschmaschine, das fehlte in der Beschreibung. Wir waren rundherum zufrieden. Der Kontakt zu Sofia (spricht sehr gut Deutsch) und zum Vermieter waren bestens. Wir (2 Erwachsene und ein Hund) können das Chalet auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Wen es interessiert: Mit einer Sim von TIM (kann vor Ort gekauft werden) kann mit HSDPA gesurft werden. Möglich waren ca. 2Mbit. Hatte einen 3G Router in der 2. Etage installiert (Ausrichtung der Antenne nach Norden). Im Erdgeschoss nur EDGE möglich.
