Chalet Vista Lario is a cozy wooden house on two floors furnished with ethnic furniture and modern design, wood floor and warm colours of the decor that create a relaxing and homely atmosphere.
It is located in Mandello del Lario, , at 10km away from Lecco on the eastern shore of lake Como, in the hamlet of Somana, at 2km away from the lake.
It is located in a peaceful a romantic setting surrounded by the beautiful Grigne Mountains on one side and the lake on the other side. It has a private well kept garden, beautifully landscaped with a rich variety of plants and flowers enjoying a lovely lake view.
The surroundings offer an astonishing variety of historical and environmental sceneries and you can choose between many excursions you can make in the mountains; the main path is “Sentiero del Viandante” - an antique way from Lecco to Switzerland, where you can take in panoramic, botanical and geological views of the lake. The mountain of la Grigna offers also many paths for more experts (for ex Rifugio Brioschi 2140m).
In Mandello you can plan a visit to the historical Moto Guzzi factory or the Silk Museum in Abbadia. The village also offers several public beaches, a well equipped lido with beach bar and restaurant with evening entertainment, a nice park and playground for children.
The railway offers frequent links south to Milan, and north to Valtellina while Varenna, has frequent ferry crossings to Bellagio and Menaggio or some boats even depart from Mandello’s harbour.

Independent house of 100 sqm on two floors furnished with taste and attention to details. The ground floor is composed of living room with leather sofa, tv-sat, armchair, dining table; separate kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, fridge and directed access on to a lovely terrace with stone table, bench and barbecue; an ideal spot for al fresco dining in front of a lovely lake view. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor with double bedroom, tastefully furnished with bamboo bed and rattan chair; second bedroom with two single beds. Private garden and parking space in front of the house. Bed linen and kitchenware included. Consumption costsand final cleaning included.

Mandello del Lario is a picturesque village at the foot of the Grigne Massif and at 10km away from Lecco set between Lake Como and the mountains that rise to 2,409 metres behind the town. Famous all over the world for being the Italian motorcycle Guzzi manufacturer, it enjoys a particular mild climate and is ideal starting point for any excursion or art and culture itinerary.

Comments	In einer wunderschönen Landschaft, umgeben von Trauben und Olivenbäumen, liegt das Haus im Ortsteil Somana oberhalb von Mandello del Lario. Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet - und die beeindruckende Aussicht auf den See lässt sich nicht nur vom gepflegten Garten, sondern auch aus dem Wohn- sowie dem Schlafzimmer genießen. Die Eigentümerfamilie ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, so dass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Comments	We are a family of 5 and have 3 kids in the age of 8, 6 and 2. We had a wonderful time at Chalet vista Lario. The house is located on a unique location in the middle of Olive trees, vegetable plants and flowers. The family makes you feel very welcome. There is a beautiful view of the lake from out the patio and the switching day light gave a different view of the mountains every hour. We also had a very special restaurant experience in Mandello: Mamma Ciccia, really nice place. All in all: Great experience!
