Casale Rogaro is a farmhouse completely restored and turned in to a two holiday apartments, set in a splendid quiet panoramic position, surrounded by luxurious greenery in a peaceful and quiet setting. It is nicely and accurately furnished and equipped up to modern standards but maintaining the characteristics of the ancient architecture and a traditional style of the décor. the stone walls and the ceilings with wood-beams, together with a furniture in a rustic but cared style make it a comfortable and cosy accommodation for relaxing and peaceful stays with direct contact to nature, where to spend unforgettable moments with friends and family.
At the same time it offers a vast choice of cultural and artistic itineraries. It can be an ideal starting point for beautiful walks and excursion routes, or for visiting the s sumptuous villas of the central lake area, better known as Tremezzina. Besides the most famous one, Villa Carlotta, that represents a perfect combination of a luxurious interior and a luxuriant exterior with over 500 species of plants and trees from all over the world, stand Villa La Quiete and Villa La Carlia, located on a hill featuring a lovely elegant staircase.
The casale is suitable for 2 families who wish to spend their holidays together, but still having their own private spaces.
Guests will find numerous options to have a good taste of Lake Como through the excursions that can be organized by the owner, they will be able to taste taste local dairy products that are made here or horse riding excursions upon request.
The farmhouse is situated at only 700m away from the lake and from the town centre of Tremezzo, tourist resort situated on the western shore of the lake, in front of Bellagio and just a few kilometres away from Menaggio, overlooking the centre lake. It is characterized by its picturesque hamlets, first of all Rogaro with its narrow streets; where you can visit the Oratory of the B.V of Einsiedeln, a Baroque church which has a carved statue of the Black Madonna.
Not far away from the old square are the ruins of a medieval tower that testimony the involvement of Tremezzo in the defence system to help the Isola Comacina.
Mountain paths branch off from the hamlets of Rogaro and Brughée leading to the Nava, Monte Crocione and San Martino mountains on Griante, from where you can enjoy one of the most breathtaking views of Lake Como.
Thanks to the lovely panoramic views that Tremezzo offers, some scenes of the film Star wars were filmed here. This area is particularly visited by thousands of tourists every year.
For those who like walking we recommend the “Greenway del Lago”, a wonderful walk along the lake discovering villas, gardens, Roman findings, quaint villages, restaurants, old Italian architecture, and expansive views. You can do the entire walk in one go in about 3 hours and a half, or if you prefer stop and continue with public transport. The whole Greenway is 10.5 km going through the villages of Colonno, Sala Comacina, Ossuccio, Lenno, Mezzegra, Tremezzo and Griante.
A private boat mooring is available on request.

The apartment is located on the first floor and is composed of large living room with stone walls and wooden ceiling; with fully equipped kitchen with oven and dishwasher. Mezzanine with relax area and double sofa bed.
On the upper floor one double bedroom, one bedroom with two single beds and two bathrooms.
The entire property of 25000m is totally fenced in. Inside are also a stable and further on a cowshed that are both taken care everyday by the farm manager.
Bed linen and kitchenware included. Gas, electricity included.

Heating in regard to consumption (€3/h).
Final cleaning 100€ to be paid upon arrival.
Pets allowed: €50 per pet per stay.
Wi fi internet connection available €15 per week.

CITY TAX (FROM THE 1ST APRIL TO THE 31ST OCTOBER 2012) : Euro 0,50 per person (over 12 years; -50% children under 12 years), per day - to be paid upon arrival for the first 7 nights.

Tremezzo is located on the western shore of Lake Como, and offers a beautiful view of Bellagio, the pearl of Lake Como. Tremezzo, Lenno and Mezzegra were once united in one commune called Tremezzina. Tremezzo is a resort town famous all time, and throughout the world, thanks to its mild climate favored by the lake and the chain of mountains that protect it from the cold. There numerous villas and parks in this area, the most famous one is Villa Carlotta, with its wonderful park with many tropical and exotic trees and coloured flowers. In spring blossoms of Azaleas and Rhododendros are really simply amazing.
