Giardino Fiorito is a pretty holiday home situated in the small village of Plesio, at 500m of altitude on the west side of the lake, at only 6km away from Menaggio, 30km from Lugano and 40km away from Como.
The apartment occupies the ground floor of a private house and the helpful owners living above, it is set in a sunny and quite position and has a nice garden with garden furniture, table, chairs, sun beds where you can relax and unwind with a cold drink while the children can play in total safety in garden. There are some children’s games and also a nice swimming pool where there can have a lot of fun!
Within a short walk you can reach the village centre, with its’ small shops, restaurant and pizzerias.

Semi-detached house of 100sqm on the ground floor composed of living room with two sofas and a double sofa bed, table, TV-SAT. Kitchenette with big fridge, stove with four ring burners and oven. Bedroom with double bed and wardrobe and bedroom with two single beds. Bathroom with shower. And a second bathroom with hydromassage bath tub and shower. Car park in front of the house. Bed linen and kitchenware provided. Consumption costs included in the price.

Menaggio is situated on the western shore of Lake Como at the point where the road bordering the western side of the lake and the road leading through the Menaggio Valley and Lugano meet.
The town is composed of the centre and three hamlets Loveno, Nobiallo and Croce.
Thanks to its central position among the lake and the mountains, this town is the ideal starting point for all kind of excursions. You can visit the beautiful villas with their lovely gardens by boat, or take the bus or car to discover the valleys with their rural settlements and small Romanesque churches and by foot or mountain bike you explore the trails of the Val Sanagra Park, which is constituted by the homonymous basin and is very interesting thanks to its natural almost intact aspect. Several paths lead to the sources of " troi" from where Chiarella takes its water. The itineraries of "Sentiero delle 4 Valli" and "Via dei Monti Lariani"are also worth to be mentioned.
The most common destination is Rifugio Menaggio, at 1400 m of altitude.
In Menaggio you can find the second oldest Golf Club in Italy, it also boasts a sports centre and a big lido with a large beach with two pools, restaurant and beach bar. The town also has a public beach, a lovely crazy golf located on the lakeside promenade and a children’s playground.

Comments	We are a family of 5 and have 3 kids in the age of 8, 6 and 2. We had a wonderful time at Giardino Fiorito. We really enjoyed Italy in a different way this time because of the tips and insights we got from the family (nice restaurants, look out places etc.). The family makes you feel very welcome. They also have 3 kids around the same age as ours with whom they also played in the garden. There is a beautiful view of the lake from out the garden and the switching day light gave a different view of the mountains every hour. As you are in a small village quite high in the mountains and away from most tourists (but only 6km away from the lake), it gives a unique feel of Italy. Great experience!
