Villa Helena is a semi detached villa located in a small hamlet just outside Lecco, on the east coast of the lake, at only 3km away from the town centre, at 20km away from Como, 22km from bellagio and 50km away from Milan and Bergamo.
The villa lies in a peaceful and sunny location and enjoys lovely panoramic views on the lake, on town of Lecco, the spectacular Mount Resegone and the other mountain surrounding it.
It has a pretty garden with garden furniture and comfortable sun beds offering pleasant moments of absolute privacy and relaxation in an absolutely magnificent natural environment; there is also a nice patio for dining al fresco surrounded by the lake and the mountains.
Lecco that is only 3km away is an ideal destination to discover a town rich in art and culture; the old town centre has many elegant early nineteenth-century houses and a beautiful main square on the lake front where the traditional local market takes place twice a week. For those who like shopping Lecco has a nice pedestrian shopping area with many shops and boutiques.
From you you can easily reach the villages of Lierna, Mandello del Lario, Colico, Domaso and the other lake side villages of the lake. Bellagio is also easily reachable by car or boat.
Lecco and its surroundings offer also many sport opportunities going from trekking to jogging, hand gliding, fishing and skiing in wintertime. There are many recommended excursions of all levels of difficulty starting from the Viandante Trail to the most demanding ones at the Piani Resinelli.

Lecco, with its dramatic mountains (Grigne and Resegone) as a backdrop, is at the tip of the south-eastern branch of Lake Como, where the River Adda regains its course near Pescarenico.
This town owes a good portion of its beauty to the great variety of landscapes, and to its unique position creating an impressive range of colours and atmospheres.
It has a nice historic centre, with a lovely square with many restaurants, cafés and gelaterias. The visit of the historic centre includes the remains of the 14th century walls built by Azzone Vi¬sconti, the old market squares, the Theatre as well as the Basilica of St. Nicolò with its impressive bell tower over¬looking the old harbour. Lecco’s breathtaking beauty so inspired Italian author Alessandro Manzoni, who lived in a villa here, that he set his famous novel, “The Betrothed”; the villa now has been transformed into a museum. While staying at Lecco a trip to Valsassina and the Piano dei Resinelli, among the Dolomite peaks of the Grigne is worth a visit.
