Villa gli Artisti is a lovely detached villa located in Lierna on the eastern coast of Lake Como, at only 5km away from Varenna and 16km from Lecco.
The villa develops on the fist floor and is surrounded by a lovely garden of 1000 sqm dotted with olive trees full of plenty of shady spots where to read quietly or just to enjoy peace and tranquillity in front of the lovely lake view.
It is ideal for lovers of peaceful ambience and relaxation. Its great terrace with wonderful lake view and garden space allow enjoy and unforgettable moments with family and friends.
It is situated 800m away from centre of Lierna, pretty small town typical of the lake, with narrow cobbled alleyways and houses attached to each other, appreciated by tourists thanks to its mild climate.
The famous long white stretch of sand known as 'Riva Bianca', one of nicest and biggest public beaches of Lake Como, is also nearby.
Lierna is well linked south to Milan and north to Valtellina, Varenna, at only 4km away, has frequent ferry crossings to Bellagio and Menaggio or some boats even depart from Lierna’s harbour.
The surroundings offer an astonishing variety of historical and environmental sceneries and you can choose between many excursions you can make in the mountains; the main path is “Sentiero del Viandante” - an antique way from Lecco to Switzerland, where you can take in panoramic, botanical and geological views of the lake.

The villa is developed on the first floor of 220 sqm, while on the ground floor are the garages and the laundry room and features a large sitting room with dining area with large door windows that opens out to a spacious terrace with table and chairs and electric blind, a great spot to enjoy al-fresco dining whilst watching the sun go down, admiring the beautiful landscape surrounding you.
The living room has a double sofa bed, fireplace, TV, dining table and chairs and extra sitting area with sofa and two arm chairs. Fully fitted kitchen with peninsula and stools, oven, microwave, dishwasher; dining table.
Two double bedrooms with wardrobe; bedroom that has the choice of either two singles or one double bed. Two bathrooms, one with bath tub and the other with shower.
Both the garden and the terrace enjoy a great view towards the lake.
Garage and parking place in the yard. Bed linen and kitchenware included. Consumption costs included in the price.

Lierna, composed by eleven fractions on a cultivated level territory of vineyards, is a famous tourist place thanks to its mild climate and its two beaches (the White Shore and the Black Shore). It is a summer centre of vacation also appreciated by the foreigners in the Lake.
Probably of Celtic origin, it was centre of winter camps of the Romans.
In the fraction of Villa, in fact, during some excavations, rests of Roman houses, furnishing and a floor to mosaic have been found.
The situated fractions in the hill still introduce the typical medieval structure, with narrow lanes.
On the shores of the lake there is a Castle, an ancient fortress on a small peninsula from which you can enjoy the sight of the promontory of Bellagio. It is currently turned into a residential area with quarters and gardens.

Comments	Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön, sehr groß und toll. Der Garten ist supergroß und komplett eingezäunt, was mit kleinen Kindern von Vorteil ist. Die Lage ist je nach Interessen zu beurteilen. Es ist schön ruhig und man kann sicherlich tolle Wanderungen starten. Wir wollten viel Mountainbiken, was von Lierna aus nicht sehr gut geht. Mit unseren Kindern (3-6 Jahre) sind wir gute 25 Minuten zum See gelaufen, man muss also gut planen. Ein Bäcker, Metzger und ein kleiner Supermarkt sind vor Ort, zu einem größeren Supermarkt fährt man ca. 25 Minuten, zu einem riesengroßen mit Einkaufscenter ca. 45 Minuten. Der Ort ist klein und alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wer allerdings abends eine Promenade zum Bummeln möchte, ist hier falsch. Das Haus und der Garten sollten ein bisschen mehr gepflegt werden, und auch die Sauberkeit war nicht 100% gut. Aber alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Allerdings sollte man die Schlafcouch nur für Kinder einplanen (da sie leichter sind), man spürt jede Feder in der Matratze. Die übrigen Schlafräume sind gut. Vom Balkon hat man einen traumhaften Seeblick. Es waren schöne 2 Wochen!!

Comments	A nice big house for company.Super view from balcony, a cozy garden. There is grill.For trains go closer than the lake:) Lierna is a very small town, all the fun starts at Varenna. It is better to take the car rental. When you find the street where the house, saying that you need a gynecologist or address not found. On the main street have a good food local stores. Nearest SPAR is in Bellano or Lecco.

Comments	De villa is oud italiaanse stijl ingericht. Ideaal voor grote gezinnen. Heel veel privacy en een prachtig uitzicht op het meer. De villa staat zeer centraal gelegen en weinig toerisme. Het dorpje lierna met haar klok geluiden. Leuke uitstapjes naar bellagio met de boot of gewoon naar de stad lecco of varenna. Milaan is 1,5 uur rijden maar wel de moeite waard. De bergen rondom lierna zijn nu het mooist vooral met de skilift naar boven bv. piani di bobbio. Het dorpje erve ligt midden in een kloof. Kortom er is best wel veel te doen rondom het meer van lecco en como. Een onvergetelijke vakantie. fam immers uit delft in holland.

Comments	Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad. Het huis ligt in Lierna, een klein plaatsje aan het Comomeer, met weinig toerisme, maar daardoor heb je het echt idee dat je je onder de Italiaanse bevolking bevindt. 10 minuten lopen naar de bakker, de supermarkt en de leuke cafeetjes voor een heerlijk kopje koffie.
