Chalet Agrifoglio is a pretty chalet in stone situated in a small hamlet of Colico, on the renowned eastern coast of Lake Como, where the colours of the lake mix together with the colours of the mountains, a magical combination of lush Mediterranean vegetation and snowy alpine peaks.
The chalet has been newly refurbished but still preserves its original style with original stoned walls; providing an ideal holiday retreat perfect for couples you are seeking for a beautiful place away from the stresses of daily life.
It has a private garden making it the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine, have an evening barbecue and just relax. Inside it is tastefully furnished and has parquet flooring and wooden ceiling.
It’s the ideal place for whoever is seeking for a relaxing holiday but also for sport lovers. In fact Colico offers many opportunities for hiking ranging from simple, peaceful lakeside walks to steep mountain paths offering amazing panoramic views of the lake. It is also a an excellent destination for water sports enthusiasts: windsurfing, sailing and kite surfing without forgetting activities like mountain bike (there is a lovely cycle track that goes along the Adda), horseback riding, sailing ecc.
From the artistic point of view there are a few things that are certainly worth a visit: Piona Abbey, Forte di Fuentes and the Montecchio Fortress, the only fortress belonging to the First World War that is still intact.
In the summer there are many festivals and local parties in many villages of Lake Como. You can enjoy the area making boat excursions from Colico to the nicest villages on Lake Como or explore the mountains making tours with or without a guide. For those you like shopping you can spend a day out at Lecco or Milan that are easily reachable by car or by train. The train station is at 1km away from the house.

New detached house in stone of around 100 sqm built on three floors : on the ground floor living room with fireplace and tv-sat, kitchen with with stove, oven, dish washer and dining table. A nice iron staircase leads to the first floor with double bedroom with balcony and bathroom with shower and washing machine. On the third floor large room with two single beds. A third bed can be added.
Garden with table, chairs, barbecue and sun beds. Parking space within walking distance. Bed linen and kitchenware included. Consumptions and final cleaning included in the price.
