Known as the "pearl" of the Lake Como, Bellagio is the most famous place on the lake. Its particular conformation has enchanted artists and writers from all over the world and for several centuries. It is on the extreme point of the promontory that divides the lake in the two branches of Como and Lecco. The town extends itself partly on the coast zone and partly on the slopes of the promontory. Thanks to this particular location there is an extraordinary panoramic variety and the sight you can have over the whole lake. Lovely 18th century villas are surrounded by beautiful gardens. Essentially, most of the lake Como villas are located near Bellagio.
